River City Buskers

Bio
The Buskers began in 1992 as a three piece jug band. Eventually they morphed into a four piece, acoustic, electric, highly eclectic, kind of eccentric string band featuring unique original music alongside danceably diverse cover tunes. Among other achievements, the Buskers were finalists in the prestigious Telluride, Colorado Bluegrass and Music Festival in 1999. 1999 also brought forth their debut (and only) studio recording,” Pleadin’ the Fifth”. The group disbanded shortly thereafter and various members foolishly wandered the nation in search of a cup named joe.
In July, 2009 The Buskers officially announced their return to the stage. Their reunion performance is scheduled for October 30, 2009.
